This Texas Aoudad hunt is set on an exceptional 47,000-acre private ranch offering true free-range, low-fence hunting. The property features a 5-star, resort-style lodge where a private chef prepares meals throughout the three-day hunt. Hunting is primarily conducted from side-by-side vehicles, combined with hiking and glassing to locate Aoudad in rugged country. Hunters typically see between 400 and 1,000 Aoudad per day, making this one of the most productive Aoudad hunts available. The outfitter and lodge can accommodate groups of up to eight hunters. September through October dates align with the rut, providing excellent hunting conditions.

This Aoudad hunt takes place on a 37,000 acre, low fence, ranch in west Texas. The ranch is a 2 hour drive from El Paso, Texas. Most hunters will fly into El Paso and drive to the ranch the next day. The ranch carries a healthy population of Aoudad and has a very diverse landscape. Hunters of all physical abilities and ages can do this hunt. This is typically a rifle hunt, but archery is an option. You will travel by side-by-side to vantage points where you and your guides will glass. You will stay in the 4 bedroom 5 bath ranch house located on the ranch. Rams will average 30-33" in horn length. Minimum of 2 hunters required to book. Groups of 4-6 will have the entire ranch to themselves.

This is a traditional, backpacking, spike-camp style Dall sheep hunt and requires a hunter to be in very good physical condition. The outfitter has had great success in this area over the last 20+ years. Hunt takes place in the Brooks Range with fly-in services departing out of Bettles.
